One Billion Rising

For 2 years, we have partnered with Sikh Heritage Manitoba in support of their One Billion Rising campaign to provide necessary care items to women in need. We are happy to announce that we will be apart of this amazing campaign again this year!

With that being said, please consider donating care items to contribute to the care packages. Care packages will be donated to the women of Willow Place Women's Shelter and North Point Douglas Women's Centre in Winnipeg. The most needed items at this time are:

  • Shampoo

  • Conditioner

  • Disposable face masks

  • Lip Balm

  • Moisturizers

  • Pads/Tampons

  • Razors

  • Hand Sanitizer

  • Gift Cards (Non-Restaurant)

Travel-Sized products are preferred. All items must be in new, unopened condition in a bag or box.

We will be accepting donations during our office hours until February 12, 2023: Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. If these times do not work for you, please email vgcc@shaw.ca to make arrangements for drop-off.
