2023 AGM notice

VGCC Annual General Meeting is scheduled for TUESDAY APRIL 18th, 2023 via ZOOM at 7:00PM.

Our AGM has been rescheduled to TUESDAY MAY 16, 2023 via Zoom.

The meeting usually runs between 20-30 minutes. If possible, please consider sharing a few minutes of your night to attend our meeting. Have a great weekend, and don’t forget to register for our 2023 Annual General Meeting!

The following Amendments to the current Constitution are proposed and will be voted on at the AGM:

Proposed Change: Article 20 – Board Composition

Change the Fundraising Director board position to Development Director. Thus eliminating the board position for Fundraising Director.

Rational: This amendment will better describe the duties of the board seat

Proposed Change: Article 12.3 - Quorums

To change the number members of the community from 25 to 10 for the transaction of business at an Annual General Meeting.

Rational: The community center has struggled to meet quorum for several years. 10 community members is achievable and allows the center to continue transaction of business that is in best interest to the community and the center.
